Winter Concert Information

December 15th, at the Performing Arts Center at Hoover High School.

**All students should bring their instruments and music home on Monday, December 15th. Students can assemble instruments in the car, and leave cases in the car.**

Beginning Band:

  • Warm up at 5:45 PM, concert starts at 6:00 PM.

  • Students should wear their "Sunday Best". Here are some guidelines that have helped people in the past:

    • Boys: dress pants, dress shoes, polo or dress shirt.

    • Girls: school-appropriate dress, school-appropriate skirt, nice top, dress shoes.

    • NO SWEATPANTS, JOGGERS, JEANS, CROCS, OR TENNIS SHOES. This is a formal concert, and we want everyone to look nice!

Concert Band:

  • Warm up at 6:30 PM, concert starts at 6:45 PM. 

  • Boys: wear black dress shirt (provided by the school), black dress pants, socks, and dress shoes (provided by parents). 

  • Girls: black dress (provided by the school), black dress shoes (provided by the parents).

  • NO SWEATPANTS, JOGGERS, JEANS, CROCS, OR TENNIS SHOES. This is a formal concert, and we want everyone to look nice!

Jazz Band/Honor Band:

  • Warm up at 7:15 PM, concert starts at 7:30 PM. 

  • Boys: wear black dress shirt (provided by the school), black dress pants, socks, and dress shoes (provided by parents). 

  • Girls: black dress (provided by the school), black dress shoes (provided by the parents).

  • NO SWEATPANTS, JOGGERS, JEANS, CROCS, OR TENNIS SHOES. This is a formal concert, and we want everyone to look nice!
